I offer patient, customized, one-on-one computer instruction, conducted right in your home or place of business.  Getting over the hump with technology—learning to operate a modern computer with real fluency and confidence—takes time.  Often, having a personal instructor by your side can make all the difference. 

It's a great moment for my clients—and for me—when things begin to "click" and they find themselves truly enjoying their computers.  That's what my service is all about:  helping people gain the skills and confidence that they need to participate in the technology revolution.

I offer a wide variety of computer and computer-related services. Some of the most popular are:

Son or daughter too busy to help? No problem!
To many clients, I perform the same sort of services that a tech-savvy son or daughter would do, if only that person were available. In fact, I have often been referred to clients by their children who recognize that, for whatever reason, they lack the time in their lives to provide such assistance to their parents.

In-home services
Most of the time, I render my services in people's homes and in community centers. In my experience, when people use their own computers, in their own environments, they become comfortable and fluent far more effectively than they do when using someone else's system in a classroom or other remote location.

Some of my clients are quite long term. They enjoy exploring their technology with a friendly guide nearby. For other clients, getting up and running quickly and solving whatever occasional problems come up works for them.

Your personal "help desk"
I am available to my clients for all of their computer needs. I am here to help with both minor issues ("What does this button do?") and major concerns ("My computer won't start!"). I provide both short-term fixes and longer-term tutoring and advice.

For my clients, I am a personal "help desk" that they can always call or email for assistance.

Rates and contact information
Rates for my services generally run $75 per hour. In most cases, I do not charge for travel time.
